The warranty period on products varies between brands and distributors. Generally most products carry a minimum warranty period of 12 Months, with the exception of Guitar Picks, Guitar Strings and Drum Sticks. You can feel safe with the knowledge that your On Line purchase is fully covered by a Manufacturers Warranty and that just because you bought an item over the internet that you are in any way disadvantaged in terms of warranty claims or returns. The same applies for faulty goods, which will fall either within the guidelines of the 14 Day Money Back Guarantee (within 14 days of purchase) or the Manufacturers Warranty.

If an item does need to be returned for a Warranty / Faulty Goods Claim then it falls under two categories:

a) Items purchased under the FREE SHIPPING offer – Items purchased that included free shipping at the initial time of purchase, must be returned at your expense. We can assist you with how to ship the item and the best/most reasonably priced carrier to use in your circumstances. Once the item has been repaired/replace we will cover the cost of sending the goods back to you.

b) Items purchased which incurred a delivery free – Cranbourne Music will cover the cost of returning items for warranty repair IF a postage/delivery fee was charged at the initial time of purchase.

*Please Note: Warranty Claim returns can also be returned in person to any of our three locations.

All Warranty / Faulty Goods must be accompanied by their purchase receipt or invoice and must be in their original packaging and in a cardboard box or postage satchel. If you have a query regarding an items Warranty period please contact us here.

Procedure for Warranty Claims:

  • Send our sales department an sales@cranbournemusic.com.au outlining your Warranty Claim.
  • Inform us as to what steps you would like to take to assist you.
  • Once your Claim has been approved, and you have received a confirmation email, pack your
    items(s) in original packaging then inside a box or satchel and return your item to:
